From what I know, it is normally crowded with people and you have to queue up and wait for a table. I guess I was lucky that I didn't have to wait for long. The restaurant is not that big, and is in between small allies. It wasn't hard to find because you can see crowd of people standing outside.
The exterior of the branch in Seomyeon, it is famous for its chicken and beer! It was a really cool and hippy interior for a chicken restaurant tbh
Can't help noticing the cute drawings hanging on top of the frame of the ceiling.
The interior of the restaurant. They have chairs that opens on top for you to put your handbags or coats inside so that it doesn't take up space while you are eating and also prevent your coat from getting smelly from all the food smell afterwards!
So 꼬꼬아찌's main signature dish is their 숯불양념 (charcoal grilled spicy sauce chicken). But from what I see from other people's pictures and blog post, Koreans don't just order the chicken but they also added the 라면사리 (only ramyeon) to the dish, to make it a meal! If you want the noodle, you have to order the add-on as the main dish doesn't come with noodle.
The menu...in full Korean. If you are not sure which to order, you can always show a photo of the one that you would like to order from your phone. The staffs were really friendly!
You can also opt for take out if you don't want to dine in!
Tadaah! The portion was soooo huge!
I have ordered the 순살숯불양념 (boneless spicy chicken) + 라면사리! The dish comes with boneless charcoal spicy chicken, rice cakes (my favourite!!), 3 cute 메추리알 (boiled quail eggs) and sesame seed. Trust me, the portion is more than enough for 3 person. 2 if you are slightly hungrier haha. The side dishes that came with it were pickled radish, cabbage salad and some crackers which was kinda tasteless to me. I wonder why there is no taste to the crackers or was it suppose to be eaten with other sauce...it was a confusing taste.
The cabbage salad, a basic
The pickled raddish, goes well with any chicken dish
The...confusing snack
Cold water was given too but I had to order my 칠성사이다 (Korean version of Sprite) because WHY NOT! They have a lot of different beverages such as beer and alcohol too.
Dinner of the day came up to 22,000 won (around RM 80)
So after the meal, I was craving for hot soup like I always do after a meal without soup. There were lots of stalls selling hot rice cakes and fish cakes. Drinking hot fish cake soup in a cold weather is how I do healing for the soul.
The rice cakes look so spicy, I wasn't in a challenge to eat that with an already very full tummy
Here is a close up video of the beautiful food :)
